About this event

Dean Mickey Quiñones and the Robins School of Business invite you to another special live taping of Full Disclosure. Host and journalist-in-residence Roben Farzad interviews Michael Pope and Jeff Schapiro, the VA politics duo from Virginia Public Radio and the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Jeff Schapiro is a politics columnist for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, covering campaigns and government for the newspaper for nearly 35 years – a period during which Virginia has become a nationally significant swing state prized by both political parties. Schapiro has also contributed to The Economist, writing on Southern culture and politics.

Michael Pope is a reporter for Virginia Public Radio, covering campaigns and elections for more than 20 years. He has reported for NPR and the New York Daily News and has authored four books. He is currently president of the Virginia Capitol Correspondents Association.

Pope and Schapiro can be heard together statewide on NPR member-station WVTF/Radio IQ.

COVID-19

Per the Physical Distancing Framework the University is currently in the Lime Stage. This event has a max capacity of 150 people; therefore registration is required. We are unable to accommodate walkups for visitors to campus (anyone other than students, faculty, staff).

From Aug. 20 through Nov. 5, attendees to programs are required to wear masks in all campus buildings, regardless of vaccination status.

Maintaining a physical distance of six feet is required for those who are not fully vaccinated. Please use the stickers on seats in Ukrop Auditorium to maintain physical distancing.
